This Comprehensive training course has been designed to equip you with the tools, techniques and approach to deal effectively with difficult conversations with compassion, whilst highlighting the importance of looking after your own health and wellbeing at this critical time.

Why is it important?
This training programme has been commissioned in response to a high number of requests from the NHS colleagues seeking support in handling difficult situations with compassion, particularly those working in non-clinical, frontline, patient-facing NHS staff who are often the first point of contact for patients. This training programme aims to provide you with the skills to handle challenging situations with compassion, whilst also ensuring you feel are able to look after your own wellbeing when needed. It will also provide the assurance of knowing you are not alone, and how you can find additional support available post training and beyond.
Why it's a great opportunity
This is a great opportunity for you to take part in a newly-developed training as it is piloted across the NHS. You will learn new skills, whilst providing a valuable contribution to the national health and wellbeing programme. All delegates will be asked to provide feedback on the course to help evaluate the value of the training.
